桌面上突然多了一個RecentPlaces的快捷方式，這是怎么回事？

不是病毒，你可以放心，如果覺得不爽可以刪除他。也可以點這個快捷圖標右鍵---屬性---常規里面知道它的原本位置。

步驟：
用：“360系統急救箱”
（1）先“查殺”病毒，再刪除后，“立即重啟”！
（2）重啟開機后，再點開“隔離|恢復”，點：“徹底刪除”病毒文件和“可疑自啟動項”！
（3）再點開“修復”，“全選”，再“修復”文件！
(4)再點開：“恢復丟失的dll文件”，掃描一下，如果沒有就行了！

一般會保存在系統C盤中的WINDOWSCookies、RECYCLED、WINDOWSHistory、WindowsRecent和Windows emp這五個文件夾內。

Win8桌面上的RecentPlaces是什么程序

您說的是不是recent文件夾的圖標。
如果是這個圖標那么它應該是從我的文檔里跑出來的。而且默認它是隱藏的。如果樓主沒有顯示隱藏文件和系統文件那么應該是看不到他的。如果樓主設置成隱藏可見又覺得礙眼可以試著刪掉。但是我不知道這東西會不會又冒出來。
當然，這個recent就是最近使用的文檔，是可以禁用的。按win+r，輸入gpedit.msc，打開組策略，找到“用戶配置－管理模板－任務欄和[開始]菜單”，在右側窗口中找到“不要保留最近打開文檔的記錄”，雙擊，設為“已啟用”就可以了。
如果樓主說的不是這個recent文件夾，而且又刪不掉，那么樓主真的需要想想這東西從哪來了。
