珠穆朗瑪雪山女神

珠穆朗瑪峰位于中國和尼泊爾兩國邊界，海拔8844.43米，是喜馬拉雅山脈

的主峰，也是世界第一高峰，被譽為“萬山之尊”、“地球之巔”、“世界第三

極”。

珠穆為藏語“女神”之意，朗瑪是“第三”之意，形容其柔美、靜穆，宛如

云中仙子。封頂終年積雪，在勁風的吹拂下，飄飄灑灑，好像女神的面紗，給人

以美麗、肅穆、神圣的感覺。

珠穆朗瑪峰整個山體呈巨型金字塔狀，威武雄壯昂首天外，地形極端險峻，

環(huán)境非常復雜。

在它周圍20千米的范圍內，群峰林立，山巒疊障。僅海拔7000米以上的高

峰就有40多座，較著名的有章嘉峰（世界第三高峰）、洛子峰（世界第四高峰）、

馬卡魯峰（世界第五高峰）等，形成了群峰來朝，峰頭洶涌的場面，壯觀無比。

從18、19世紀開始,就陸續(xù)有一些國際探險家、登山隊員前往珠峰探索奧秘。

20世紀20年代至30年代,外國登山隊曾7次想從北坡登頂,均以失敗告終。1960

年,中國登山隊首次從北坡登上頂峰。時至今日,她仍是無數(shù)登山愛好者畢生追慕

的女神。

直作為中國對珠峰高度的采用值沿用至2005年。2005年10月9日,中國國家測

繪局公布了珠穆朗瑪峰新的高度為8844.43米。
