基數詞和序數詞的用法

一、時刻表達法

1. 表示整點鐘用基數詞加o’clock(可省略)

10:00 讀作：ten o’clock 或ten

2. 表示幾點過幾分(分鐘數小于30分)，可用小時、分鐘為單位分別讀出，也

可分鐘后加past，再讀小時。

3:20 讀作：three twenty或：twenty past three

3. 如果分鐘數大于30分時，可用小時、分鐘為單位分別讀出，也可讀出用

60減去現有分鐘數后的分鐘，之后加to，再將原來的小時加上一再讀出，意為

“差幾分幾點”。

5:31 讀作: five thirty-one 或 twenty-nine (60-31) to six (5+1)，即：

差二十九分六點。

答案：B

思路分析：A項意為“差五十分八點”，而前面的分鐘數要小于30，故錯誤；

C項中o’clock是多余的，只有在整點鐘后才加，故B項正確，意為“七點五

二、年月日表達法

1. 年份，用基數詞表示，每兩位數讀一個詞。

2016 讀作：twenty sixteen

1989 讀作：nineteen eighty-nine

表示在哪一年用介詞in。

2. 月份，在哪個月用介詞in。

(1) 先月后日時，日子要讀成序數詞。在哪一天用介詞on。

五月一日讀作：May (the) first，其中the可不讀。可寫作：May 1/ May 1st.

(2) 先日后月時，月份前要加介詞of。

五月一日讀作：the first of May，其中the不能省略。

3. 年月日同時出現，把年代放在最后，年代前用逗號隔開。

2016年十月一日可寫成：October (the) first, 2016 (ctwenty sixteen)

或：the first of October, 2016(ctwenty sixteen)。

答案：B

思路分析：空處要用日子，它放在月前，故用序數詞，且定冠詞the不省略。

nine的序數詞正確形式為：ninth，故選B項。

三、編號表達法

1. 用No. 表示。

No. (Number的縮寫)后加數字，數字讀基數詞。

No. 3 bus 讀作：Number Three bus，三路公交車

2. 用序數詞

其詞序為：the+序數詞+名詞。

3. 用基數詞

其詞序為：名詞(首字母大寫) +基數詞(如用英語拼寫時，詞首字母也要大

寫)。此種方法較常見，特別是當數字較長時。

思路分析：“三班”可用 Class 3 或the third class表示，故選A項；B
