初中無敵英語語法:自身代詞·相互代詞

表示“我自己”、“你自己”、“他自己”、“我們自己”、“你們自己”和“他們自己”等的代詞，叫做自身代詞。也有稱為“反身代詞”的。

表示相互關(guān)系的代詞叫做相互代詞，有each other和one another兩組，但在運(yùn)用中，這兩組詞沒什么區(qū)別。

1) 自身代詞

She was talking to herlf.

她自言自語。

1.自身代詞的種類

英語中自身代詞是由人稱代詞或物主代詞加后綴-lf或-lves構(gòu)成，有人稱和數(shù)的變化，見右表：

人稱 數(shù)單數(shù)復(fù)數(shù)

第一人稱mylfourlves

第二人稱yourlfyourlves

第三人稱himlf herlf itlfthemlves

2.自身代詞的用法

a.主要用于擔(dān)任同位語以加強(qiáng)語氣，在句中的位置較靈活。

I cooked it mylf（=I mylf cooked it）.

我自己親自做的飯。

I spoke to the chairman himlf.

我對主席本人講。

b.作賓語（表示動作返回到動作執(zhí)行者本身，即主語和賓語是指同一個或同一些人或物）

Mary saw herlf in the mirror.

瑪麗在鏡子中看見了她自己。

比較

Mary saw her in the mirror.

瑪麗在鏡子中看見了她。（另外一個人）

Einstein taught himlf advanced maths.

愛因斯坦自學(xué)（自己教自己）高等數(shù)學(xué)。

c.作表語

He is not quite himlf today.

他今天情緒有點反常。

d.介詞+反身代詞

Ro said to himlf，“Where am I？”

羅斯自言自語，“我在哪兒呢？”

I went to the post office by mylf.

我一個人去郵局。（我單獨地，一個人去的；沒有別人幫助去的那兒。相當(dāng)于alone或without help）

比較

I went to the post office mylf.

我親自去的郵局。

（強(qiáng)調(diào)不需要別人去，是我自己去的）

注意

自身代詞的構(gòu)成

第—、第二人稱是：形容詞性所有格+lf（或lves）

mylf，yourlf，ourlves，yourlves；

第三人稱全是人稱代詞的賓格+lf（或lves）

himlf，herlf，itlf，themlves。必背！

獨自地；獨立

2) 相互代詞

Tom and Mary love each other.

湯姆和瑪麗彼此相愛。

1.相互代詞的形式

通格（包括主格和賓格）： each other；one another。

所有格：each other's；one another's。2.相互代詞的用法

a.賓語

They help each other（one another）.

他們互相幫助。

Don't talk to each other（one another）.

不要互相說話。（each other是介詞to的賓語）

b.所有格形式作定語

We should point out each other's（one another's） shortcomings.

我們應(yīng)該指出彼此的缺點。

They know each other's favourite（s）.

他們彼此了解各自的愛好。

你們常通信嗎？

Do you often write to each other？

他們現(xiàn)在不常見面了。

They don't often e each other now.

注意

有時，在中文字面上沒有“互相”、“彼此”等字，但譯成英語時要用eachother（互相、彼此）。
