曹丞相府原為曹操處理軍國大事的地方，奠定曹魏霸業的屯田令和求賢令都誕生在這里。后曹丕建立魏國后，曹氏府第由相府變為王府，后又演變為皇宮。只可以，曹丞相府的原有建筑在歷史的風云激蕩中早已蕩然無存，甚至連遺跡也難覓蹤影了。如今的曹丞相府是許昌市在原之上修建的一處旅游景區，也是目前全國第一個全方位展示曹魏文化的主題景區。

曹丞相府由府門、迎賢堂、議事廳、賦詩樓等組成，占地面積約30000平方米。迎賢堂，原是曹操招賢納士、任用人才的場所；議事廳，原是曹操商議軍國大政、謀劃作戰部署之地；賦詩樓，原是曹氏父子款待賓朋、登高吟唱的閣樓。
