Unit 1 My School

Hi, I'm Lucy. I go to school every day. My school is big. There are

many classrooms, a library, a playground, and a cafeteria. I like

playing with my friends during recess. We have so much fun!

At school, I learn many subjects like math, English, science, and

social studies. My favorite subject is art. I like to draw and paint. I

also like to read books in the library.

Every Friday, we have a school asmbly. We sing songs, listen to

announcements, and celebrate birthdays. It's always a fun time.

Unit 2 My Family and Friends

I have a big family. There's my mom, dad, sister, and brother. We

all live together in a hou. My mom is a teacher and my dad is a

doctor. My sister likes to play soccer and my brother likes to play

video games.

I also have many friends. We like to play together after school. We

play hopscotch, jump rope, and tag. Some of my friends have pets

like dogs and cats. We like to play with them too.

Unit 3 Animals

I love animals. There are many different types of animals like cats,

dogs, birds, and fish. My favorite animal is a panda. They are so

cute and fluffy.

In school, we learn about different habitats and ecosystems. We

learn that animals need clean water, air, and food to survive. We

also learn about the importance of taking care of the environment

so animals can thrive.

Unit 4 Food and Drinks

I love eating different types of food. My favorite food is pizza. It

has chee, tomato sauce, and toppings like pepperoni and

mushrooms. I also like to drink milk and juice.

In school, we learn about different food groups and the importance

of eating a balanced diet. We learn that fruits and vegetables are

important for our health. We also learn about cooking and how to

make simple recipes like scrambled eggs and sandwiches.

Unit 5 Sports and Hobbies

I love playing sports and having hobbies. My favorite sport is

soccer. I also like to swim and ride my bike. My hobby is drawing.

I like to draw pictures of animals and nature.

In school, we learn about different sports and hobbies. We learn

about the importance of staying active and exerci. We also learn

about different types of art like painting, sculpting, and

photography.

Unit 6 Seasons and Weather

I love the different asons and weather. In the fall, the leaves turn

orange and brown. In the winter, it snows and we can build

snowmen. In the spring, flowers bloom and birds chirp. In the

summer, we can go to the beach and swim.

In school, we learn about the different asons and weather

patterns. We learn about the importance of dressing appropriately

for the weather and protecting ourlves from the sun. We also

learn about natural disasters like hurricanes and tornadoes.

Unit 7 My Home

I love my home. It is cozy and comfortable. We have a living room,

a kitchen, bedrooms, and a backyard. My bedroom is my favorite

room. I have a bed with a cozy blanket and lots of stuffed animals.

In school, we learn about different types of homes like apartments,

hous, and townhous. We learn about different rooms and

furniture. We also learn about the importance of keeping our

homes clean and organized.

Unit 8 Transportation

I love different types of transportation. I like riding my bike, taking

the bus, and going on road trips in my family's car. When we go on

vacation, we take a plane. It's fun to look out the window and e

the clouds.

In school, we learn about different types of transportation and their

us. We learn about the importance of safety and following traffic

rules. We also learn about different types of vehicles like trains,

boats, and motorcycles.

Unit 9 Holidays and Special Days

I love holidays and special days. My favorite holidays are

Christmas and Halloween. On Christmas, we decorate a tree and

exchange gifts. On Halloween, we dress up in costumes and go

trick-or-treating.

In school, we learn about different holidays and special days like

New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, and Thanksgiving. We learn

about their origins and traditions. We also learn about the

importance of celebrating with family and friends.
