good afternoon, honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen,

the title of my speech is defeat makes me more confident.

most people may think that defeat is a kind of obstacle that

prevents you from being successful. quite the contrary, i believe

defeat makes me more confident.

as you may know, if you can not be an excellent lor you will

never win. everything in my life always shows both my

advantages and disadvantages. i have been entering a lot of

contests. i don’t care about the results, but feel it is more

important to learn something during the process. after i failed in

the contests each time, the judges always gave me uful

comments and suggestion addressing my shortcomings and

helped me improve mylf step by step. so, now i am more lf-confident to face any challenges and believe i will be the final

winner in my life.

everyone needs friends baceu there are a lot of things that

though in the cold winter,friendship just likes the water in the

dert ,it can make you fell that in the world ,there still has

hope .in a word ,the friendship is the same meaning as the

greatness ,lfness and devotion.

to make friends ,adding a friend equals addng a way ,open

your heart ,devote yourf,let friendship make your world

colourful.

my topic is “smile”. i hope you will like it.

first of all, i want to ask you some questions. just think it.

what is smile? what your attitudes towards it? do you often

smile?

in my opinion, smile is the thing that goes the farthest

towards making life worthwhile, that costs the least and does the

most. smile is pretty. so it is when you smile meaningfully at a

boy or a girl. just for a joke.

smile is a language which cannot be heard yet but everyone

always knows its meaning. when you meet you classmates in the

morning, smiling means “hey. good morning!” when you fail,

your friends? smiles tell you “have another try!” there is no

room for sadness when you e a cheery smile. it needn?t any

extra description. only a smile will do.

in our life, smile cannot be ! it worth millions of

dollars, and it doesn?t cost a cent. so, smile away! folks

understand what a smile means.
