作文一

Near the end of the Second World War, Churchill delivered

his famous and shortest speech: "Never, Never Give Up." The

British, as well as people in many other countries, were

tremendously encouraged, and finally came through the hardest

period in human history.

Never give up reprents a strong and positive attitude

towards life. Some people are ready to quit when they feel they

cannot endure the difficulties of work,or they don't think they

can find a way to finish a required task. Such people usually

become upt, disappointed by failure and lo their

lf-confidence, although they virtually can do everything

well. In the ca of acquiring a cond language, most people

fail simply becau they have given up. Acquiring a cond

language might be the easiest task among diver academic

curricula, becau one can be successful only by plain

repetition, though it is painful and time-consuming.

Never give up. Such a strong belief often gives us a cond

chance. The fact that we failed somewhere does not mean we are

going to fail everywhere, and it does not necessarily mean that

we are deprived of opportunities to win. There is probably, if

not always, a cond chance. Many successful people did fail

before. Yu Minhong, the founder of the New Oriental School, was

able to study in Peking University only after three attempts

to pass the college entrance examination. He wasn't regarded

successful after graduation. Among many things was the fact

that almost all his classmates went abroad while he was, each

and every time, refud by visa officers for unexplained

reasons. Yet he never gave up, which led to his later success.

Psychology teaches us that we do get what we want, if we

know exactly what we want and want the right thing. First of

all, we must make sure that our defined goals are achievable,

and that our carefully designed means are practical. A

superficial claim like "I wanna be a millionaire!" brings

nothing, and an unrealistic goal like "inventing a machine that

will never consume energy" is absolutely meaningless. But if

we want to acquire a cond language, it is both realistic and

meaningful. By careful planning and persistence, we have no

reason to fail. And numerous examples tell us that even if

learning methods are imperfect, many people still can finally

attain great achievements. Therefore, in most cas, "Never,

never give up" is really something that we should always bear

in mind.

“永不放棄”代表一種堅(jiān)強(qiáng)樂觀的生活態(tài)度。當(dāng)有一些人無法忍

受工作的艱苦，或無法完成規(guī)定的任務(wù)時(shí)，就想要放棄。這些人實(shí)際

上能夠做好每一件事情，但過早放棄導(dǎo)致的失敗令他們垂頭喪氣，失

去信心。比如在學(xué)習(xí)第二語(yǔ)言的過程中，大多數(shù)人的失敗僅僅是因?yàn)?/p>

他們沒有堅(jiān)持下去。學(xué)習(xí)外語(yǔ)可能是各類文化課中容易的課程了，因

為僅通過不斷重復(fù)就能學(xué)好，盡管這個(gè)過程漫長(zhǎng)而痛苦。

永不放棄。這種頑強(qiáng)的信念也許會(huì)給我們帶來新的機(jī)遇。我們?cè)?/p>

參加高考后終于考進(jìn)了北京大學(xué)。畢業(yè)之后，他的表現(xiàn)也不盡如人意。

當(dāng)他的所有同學(xué)幾乎都已出國(guó)后，他卻一次又一次無端地被簽證官拒

簽。然而他沒有放棄，這為他日后的成功埋下了伏筆。

如愿以償。首先，我們必須確立一個(gè)切合實(shí)際的目標(biāo)，并且精心計(jì)劃

一套切實(shí)可行的實(shí)現(xiàn)方法。口頭文章，如“我要做一個(gè)百萬(wàn)富翁!”

只是一句空話。不切實(shí)際的目標(biāo)，如“發(fā)明一臺(tái)永不耗能的機(jī)器”，

沒有任何意義。但學(xué)一門外語(yǔ)就是既切合實(shí)際又有意義的目標(biāo)。通過

周密的計(jì)劃和不懈的努力，我們就不會(huì)失敗。許多例子告訴我們，有

時(shí)候即使學(xué)習(xí)方法不盡善盡美，許多人還是能取得很好的成績(jī)。因此，

很多時(shí)候，我們應(yīng)將“永不放棄”牢記于心。

However hard the situation is，we shouldn't lo our heart，

What's more，when we are unhappy，we can think about our

dreams，so that we will be more we are
