泰國實用英語

簡稱Thai，所以，下次如果有人跟你說“我上個月去了一趟Thai

旅游”的時候，要立刻反響過來回復到“Oh, Thai! How wonderful!

Did you go to Bangkok?”^^

2. Bangkok 曼谷(BKK)

泰國首都，英文縮寫BKK（這個在航空公司訂機票或者到國際機場

登機的時候很有用哦～～～）

3. Khao San Road (“靠山路”)

Khao San Road now bees an alternative Bangkok attraction

and a "must do" on the backpacker and GAP student trail.

Cheap guest hous, street cafes, markets, boutiques, and

bars.

靠山路：曼谷知名的背包族(backpacker)的落腳點。世界各國的背

包族，都喜歡群居在這里，或者潦倒，或者enjoy日子。不過，最

印象深刻的一點是，國外的背包族，跟中國的背包族截然不同的

是：前者可以說是一種落魄或流浪；而后者，在中國，是一種貴族

人玩的游戲。

4. Guest hou 旅店、招待所

到泰國旅游，guest hou到處可見。所以，住guest hou的習

以為常使住酒店成為一種奢侈和浪費。

Guest hou常見簡寫為：G.H. 這種用法，也是到處可見。

而G.H.的這個用法，卻是自己在兩個月前的一次云南之行的時候，

才發現的。其中，還有一段小丑事。

那天，徒步虎跳峽途中，下榻一山澗中隨意搭建的小小旅店，旅店

有個很好聽的名字“山白臉”。旅店旁邊兩旁的群山巨石中，落落

大方地刻著兩個很大的字母“G.H.”。對英文字母一向很敏感的

me，毫不猶豫地向女主人家問道：“老板娘，那個G.H.是什么意思

呀？” 不料，女主人家卻以掩耳不及迅雷之速，斬釘截鐵地答道：

“Guest hou!”

me這個號稱讀了N輩子英語的English major，頓時ft～～～～當

場好想找個地洞～～～

5. double room, twin room 雙人房

double room和twin room都是指雙人房。兩者的區別在于：

double room是指A room for two persons with a double bed

(允許兩個人住并配有一個雙人床的房間)；

twin room那么是指A room with two beds for two people (允許

兩個人住并配有兩張單人床的房間)。

通常旅店都會提供這兩種方式的雙人房，兩者價格一樣。

另外，旅店通常會按照air conditioner, non-conditioner, fan,

non-fan, bathroom(獨立洗手間), shared bathroom(公用洗手間),

24-hour hot water, refrigerator等這些附加條件進展更細的房

間價格劃分。住客可以按照自己實際需要進展選擇。可見，泰國的

旅游業已經是很成熟。

6. Make a phone call 打

到了泰國，可能很心急的一件事是，想打個 回家報平安或者打

給travel agency或者hotel。曼谷以及其它城市的市中心繁華一

帶、機場等，都很容易找到公共 。公用 通常有投幣和插卡兩

種。前者是適用于在泰國make domestic calls國內 。而后者，

插卡式公用 ，那么適用于make domestic call國內 或者

overa calls國際長途，可以購置SIM卡或者充值卡（pre -paid

card）。這些 卡通常在7-11等便利店都可以買到，買了以后請

店員小姐幫助開通或者充值，很方便的)。

7. Taxi 打的

到泰國旅游，如果是幾個人同伴出游的話，通常坐公交車是不太切

合實際的，因為有比之性價比高很多的taxi；谷本來就是一個很小

的城市，打的也要不了多少時間和金錢，最重要是省事省時。

上車后，不要bargain（講價），要求司機直接打表（u the

meter）即可，路上會有很多high way 和toll way。High way就

是高速公路了，toll way是應該是指一般的收費公路。兩者都是要

額外收費的。所以，上車之前，一定要跟司機說好“No high way.

No toll way.”，否那么就要白白多叫幾十Bhat泰銖。

8. Domestic airport國內機場與international airport國際機

場

當你要打的去機場的時候，一定要跟司機說清楚，你要去的是

domestic airport（國內機場），還是去international airport

（國際機場），因為國內航班和國際航班的入口相差還有一小段間

隔。否那么，足夠能把身上背著一大包行李、手里還拉著一個宏大

的行李箱的你，好好的折磨一番。

另外，在一出機場的機場監控處打車，要加付五十Bhat泰銖管理

費。所以，最好自己走出機場外，再打車。

9. Chatuchak公園周末市場

泰國曼谷特定地名詞匯。Chatuchak，是曼谷的一個著名的周末市

場。在這里您可以買到任何東西，從衣服、飾品、食物、手工藝品

等一切都可以用來送贈親朋好友的旅行紀念品。是喜愛逛市場和喜

歡淘寶的人的天堂。另外要提一下的是，這里的人都不喜歡講價，

根本上是說了一個價格之后，就很難bargain討價還價。me就很喜

歡這種方式，覺得大家買賣雙方都是以公平和誠信交易，很舒服，

并且少了很多討價還價帶來的不必要麻煩與欺詐。

10. Phuket 布吉/普吉

Phuket lies off the west coast of Southern Thailand in the

Andaman Sea, approximately 890km from Bangkok. It is

Thailand’s largest island at 550sq km, roughly the same

size as Singapore, and is surrounded by many smaller

islands that add a further 70 sq km to its total land area.

The most beautiful beaches are found on the West coast,

parated by rocky coves and headlands. The east coast

pris limestone shoals with only a few sandy beaches while

spectacular limestone islands adorn the horizon. Coral

gardens full of exotic marine life dot the emerald waters

surrounding the island, although sadly much of Phuket's

coral has been disappearing due to environmental pressures

and human activities.

與曼谷截然不同的是，普吉島，具有廣闊的最令人留連忘返的美麗

的海岸線，海邊有精巧的新月形白色沙灘，也有巖石構成的海峽。

在北部一角，Sarasia橋與大陸相連的地方，是普吉島主要的沙灘

和海灣。其中最popular最famous的幾個海灘包括：

MAI KHAO海灘 － 松針形的沙灘是普吉島最長的海灘，每年從十一

月到二月大海龜都會與海浪博擊，來到這里產卵。

NAIYANG海灘 － 這里是國家公園的一局部，背景是常綠喬木和紅

樹林。寧靜的環境最適于放松身體、野餐、游泳和潛水。

PATONG海灘 - 是普古島最著名且設施最完善的海灘，在三公里長

的月牙狀海灘上，游客們可享受各種水上活動，購物和休閑娛樂。

而且，這里的夜生活也豐富多彩，海鮮飯店隨處可見。我們當時去

的，就是PATONG這個海灘，覺得是一個很方便的度假海灘，很適合

第一次出行泰國的人。

KARON海灘和KATA海灘 － 這兩個海灘都有令人向往的寧靜的環

境，十分適合游泳、潛水、沖浪和日光浴。

11. Chiang Mai 清邁

曼谷之外，泰國另外一個主要的購物城市。清邁是世界上最大的手

工藝品和家庭手工業中心之一。本地產品范圍非常廣泛，包括棉布

和絲綢、山地族服裝、緬甸掛毯、手繪雨傘和漆器，許多都可以在

night market(夜市)上找到。btw, 在清邁，最好挑一個離night

market很近的旅館住，這樣晚上就可以很方便地在那里購物和吃

yumi yumi的大排檔海鮮了。

12. Elephant trekking around the jungle 叢林騎大象

除了購物，當時選擇去清邁的另外一個原因是為了體驗jungle和

elephant show的樂趣。但是，在體驗過程中，發現騎大象是一種

很殘忍的事情，訓象和掌馱象的人都會很殘忍地對待大象，大象好

可憐～～～以后再也不會騎！
