Xiqiao Mountain, located in Nanhai District, Foshan City,

Guangdong Province, China, is a celebrated natural attraction

and a significant cultural landmark. Standing at an altitude of

1,290 meters, it is one of the four famous mountains in

Guangdong and has been designated as a National AAAAA-level Tourist Attraction.

Known as the "Southern Sacred Mountain," Xiqiao

Mountain is steeped in mythology and history, with numerous

legends and tales associated with its peaks and valleys. It is

believed to be the birthplace of the Bodhisattva Guanyin, who is

revered across East Asia. The mountain's scenic beauty includes

lush forests, clear streams, waterfalls, and unique geological

formations.

The main attractions of Xiqiao Mountain include:

- Bao'en Temple (Bao'en Si): This temple is dedicated to

the Bodhisattva Guanyin and is a place of pilgrimage for many

- Baiyun Guan (White Cloud Temple): A tranquil

monastery situated amidst the clouds and mist, providing a

perhaps catch sight of monkeys playing in the trees.

- Tianhu Park (Tianhu Gongyuan): A beautiful park

- Bi Yun Dong (Green Cloud Cave): A natural cave adorned

with stalactites and stalagmites.

- Fei Liu Qian Shi (Flying Waterfall): One of the most

dramatic waterfalls on the mountain, plummeting from a great

height.

- Huang Feihong Lion Arts and Martial Arts Muum:

Honoring the legendary martial artist Huang Feihong, this

muum showcas lion dance performances and displays

martial arts paraphernalia.

Xiqiao Mountain offers various activities such as hiking,

climbing, and exploring its natural wonders. It is also a popular

destination for photography enthusiasts due to its stunning
