◆ For a specific number, or when you have a number at the beginning, we do not put an S at the end of HUNDRED, THOUSAND, MILLION, BILLION, DOZEN, SCORE.

◆ We u an S at the end to express an approximate number. This gives an idea of quantity though not a preci amount. Don’t put a number before it. HUNDREDS, THOUSANDS, MILLIONS, BILLION, DOZEN, SCORE are usually followed by OF plus a plural noun.
