第77-78課的內容：

一、重要句型或語法

1、have的用法

本課側重學習的是have表示“做”的意思，相當于do或make。

如：Do you have an appointment?

2、情態(tài)動詞must和can

本課的must與can的用法與第61-66課中的用法一樣。如：Can

you come at ? / I must e the doctor now, nur.

二、課文主要語言點

I want to e the dentist, plea. 1)e the dentist，表

示想見牙醫(yī)，其實是指找牙醫(yī)看牙齒。 2)注意區(qū)分

dentist/doctor。能夠拓展vet、surgeon和physician。

Do you have an appointment? 1)可對have的用法實行拓展，

如：have a walk，have a holiday，have a rest。 2)注意

appointment

是apppoint后面加了名詞后綴-ment構成的。appoint表示“預

約;任命”。

Is it urgent? urgent表示“緊急的;緊迫的”。

I feel awful. 1)awful，表示“可怕的;糟糕的”，相當于terrible。

2)可快速復習一下感官系動詞：

look/sound/smell/taste/feel。提醒學生feel的過去式時felt。

I have a terrible toothache. 復習第61-62課中have表示

“患病”的意思，如：have a cold/temperature。

Can you come at on Monday, April 24th? 1)復習表時

間的介詞at/in/on的用法。 2)注意幾月幾號的表達，幾號用序數(shù)

詞

表達，讀的時候幾號前面要讀出定冠詞the，即April the twenty-

fourth。 3)結合下文里出現(xiàn)的p.m.，解釋a.m.和p.m.的意思和用法。

I must e the dentist now. 復習must表“必須”的用法，注

意其否定形式是needn't，而mustn't表示的是“禁止;不能”。

The dentist is very busy at the moment. 1)可拓展be busy

doing表示“忙于做某事”的用法，如：The dentist is busy eing

the patients. 2)提醒學生注意at the moment。本句話的謂語動詞如

果不是系動詞be，而是其他行為動詞的話，動詞就要用實行時了。如：

The dentist is eing the patients at the moment.

I'm afraid that he can't, Mr. Croft. I'm afraid that ...，作為句型

實行操練。如：I'm afraid that she is busy at the moment.

Can't you wait till this afternoon? Can't sb. do sth.?，

反問句，意為：某人就不能做什么嗎?

I can wait, but my toothache can't. 本句話是由but連接的

并列句，而且前后兩句話結構完全一樣，一個肯定，一個否定，

形成

了鮮明對照，達到了較好的強調效果。
