單數句變復數句規律總結

一、指示代詞由單數變復數： this → the that → tho

二、人稱代詞的變化：I → we she/he/it → they you不變

三、 be動詞的變化：am/is

→ are

四、可數名詞的復數形式的部分規則

1． 一般情況加s，結尾是清輔音讀[s]，結尾是濁輔音或元音讀[z]。

例：friend→friends; cat→cats; style→styles; sport→sports;

2． 以s、x、ch、sh結尾的詞，在該詞末尾加上后輟-es構成復數。 讀[iz]。

例：bus→bus; fox(狐貍)→foxes; match（比賽）→matches; flash→flashes

3. 以輔音字母+y結尾的名詞，將y改變為i，再加-es。讀[z]。

例：candy→candies; family→families; lady→ladies; story→stories

4. 以-o結尾的名詞，有生命的加-es，無生命的加-s構成復數。讀[z]。

例：tomato→tomatoes; potato→potatoes;（有生命）

piano→pianos; photo→photos（無生命）

5. 以-f或-fe結尾的名詞，多為將-f或-fe改變為-v +es

例：knife→knives; life→lives; leaf→leaves; scarf→scarves反例：roof→roofs

名詞的不規則變化：

man→men; woman→women; child→children; people(人)→people; fish(魚)→fish;

sheep(羊)→sheep; foot→feet; mou (老鼠)→mice; (牙齒)tooth→teeth;

一去掉：a/an表示一個，用在單數名詞前，當單數句變復數句時，一定要把去掉。

一保持：原句子中的形容詞，介詞，副詞，定冠詞the保持不變，如果原句是疑問句，變為復數句以后句式也不變。
