簡介：繼那只脾氣壞又好吃懶作的加菲貓搞出了一大堆是是非非之后，大銀幕上的新一

代寵兒由三只古靈精怪的花栗鼠接手……故事開始于一個生活在洛杉磯、雄心勃勃卻又

懷才不遇的詞曲作家大衛·塞維爾所面對的一系列窘境，他的制作人伊恩對于他的作品

和女友克萊爾似乎都不甚滿意，也缺乏耐心，所以乾脆“冷藏”了他，對他不聞不問。

就在大衛幾乎放棄了所有的希望之時，卻突然在自家的廚房聽到了輕快的節奏，循著聲

音，他找到了艾爾文、西奧多和西蒙--三只在廚房偷吃、卻絕對擁有著與眾不同的才能

的花栗鼠。

讓大衛差點驚掉了下巴的是，這些厚顏無恥跑到他家找能吃的東西的花栗鼠，不但

不幸的是，同樣覺得花栗鼠會唱歌很神奇的伊恩，還看到一條財源滾滾的致富之路，

他為三只花栗鼠進行了最有效的包裝和宣傳，然后展開了世界范圍內的巡演，給它們安

排了大量的工作，心中盤算的是要如何奴役它們，才能給自己帶來最大的經濟效應。為

了讓自己心中的計劃一路暢通無阻，伊恩借故成功地將一直保護著花栗鼠的大衛趕出門

外，讓他沒辦法再度參與進來。那么，我們可愛的花栗鼠能在人類的貪婪中生存下來嗎？

意思是和年輕人保持一樣的頻率，不會像成年人一樣刻板教條，而是很酷很時尚，懂得

小孩子喜歡什么東西，類似于我們說的孩子王這種。一般都會用來形容那些面向青少年

的電視節目、品牌等。

表示“不想做某事”。

這里的bring是“to force, persuade, or make (onelf)/逼迫、說服”的意思。

注釋：Harebrained

adj. 輕率的,欠考慮的,粗心的=Foolish; flighty

Hare在14世紀等同于我們現在的hair頭發，所以harebrained的意思就是說腦袋瓜跟

頭發一樣無足輕重。

注釋：Hover

本義表示懸空在某物體上面，而在這里則表示逗留在某人周圍或某地不離開。

字面看得出是眼睛和耳朵，引申出來就表示眼觀六路、耳聽八方，指某個人消息很靈通

的意思。

注釋：Home girl

n. 同鄉的女子 a girl or woman from one's neighborhood, hometown, or region大

到祖籍，或者曾經居住地相同的女生，小到周圍女鄰居，都能被列為稱作home girl。

10、I needed a candid for the feature.

注釋：Candid

快照，抓拍照。不同于專業社攝影，candid并不注重攝影中至關重要的光線、景

深等技術質量，往往是趁人不備之時按下的快門。在好萊塢娛樂圈，candid也是個常

見詞，多表示明星日常生活，而非正式場合被拍下的生活照。

用于向別人表示幫著對方密切留意情況，有點像漢語的“我罩著你”的意思。如果感

到有危險的話，會很小心地經常往后看，而如果有人幫你罩著你身后，那你就可以大膽

放心地只管前面了。

注釋：Keep to onelf

字面上看都是把什么東西留給自己。這是一個固定搭配，意思是不與外界交際，不

和外人來往。還有一個意思則是保守秘密。

注釋：Together, together

兩個形容詞的疊用，在口語當中很常見，不單單是強調，還有突出字面意義的作用。

比方這里說Cullen一家，他們都是在一起的，不單單是一家人那樣的在一起，還都成

雙成對的。

14、The blonde girl, that's Rosalie, and the big dark-haired guy, Emmett,they're, like,

在俚語里面有暗示兩個人有戀愛關系的意思，或者表示某人暗戀某人。

這是生物學的專有名詞，是指細胞分裂的中期。這個段落里貝拉和愛德華的生物課

上在做觀察細胞分裂階段的實驗，出現了一組關于細胞分裂的專有名詞，包括：Mitosis

細胞分裂；Prepropha早前期；Propha前期；Prometapha前中期；Metapha

中期；Anapha中后期；Telopha后期。

18、I'm sorry, I' I'm just trying to figure you out. You're very difficult for me

注釋：Figure you out

Figure out有發現、決定的意思，也可以表示解決了問題，但顯然在這邊不是這么

解釋。Figure sb. out在口語里面很常見，表示了解某人、理解某人，或者揣測某人的

心理。這里指愛德華是對貝拉說：你實在讓人捉摸不透。

注釋：Get contacts

意思是戴隱形眼鏡。生活中戴隱形眼鏡的同學不少，但是這個詞要怎么說是不是不

知道呢？不要說成wear invisible glass哦~

注釋：Fluorescents

指熒光燈，愛德華的意思是說因為光照不同，造成了他眼睛瞳孔的顏色大不一樣。

注釋：Sure as hell

常用于表示千真萬確的，不同爭辯的。通常帶有一定的生氣情緒在里頭。

22、You can kiss your licen goodbye.

注釋：Kiss your licen goodbye

Kiss sth. goodbye就是與某物吻別，意思是準備失去某樣東西吧。帶有一些的諷

刺語氣。當然也可以用作kiss sb. goodbye，與某人吻別。

23、Well, Bella, looks like you took quite a spill. How do you feel?

注釋：Took quite a spill

Take a spill是個俚語詞組，就是摔了一跤、撞到路面的意思，但有點調侃的口氣。

Spill一詞除了溢出的意思之外，還能表示摔落、暴跌等。

24、You know, it would've been a whole lot wor if Edward wasn't there. He

knocked me out of the way.

注釋：Whole lot wor

前面的whole lot是用來修飾wor的程度，表示情況會是完全不一樣的糟糕。比

較級前面的修辭還有不少，包括even、far、still等等。

26、I think we should take this in my office.

注釋：Take this in my office

這句話的意思是“到我辦公室去說”，很平常簡單的一句話，但不是native speaker

想要表達這個意思的時候還真想不到這么說。

27、No. You were next to your car, across the lot.

注釋：Across the lot

Lot = An establishment for the storage or sale of motor vehicle.在這里指的是

parking lot停車場，而不是我們最熟悉的表示很大的一筆數量。Lot作為名詞能表示相

當量的一塊土地，特別是用于停車以及車輛銷售的場地。

28、Can't you just thank me and get over it?

注釋：Thank me and get over it

這句話解釋成“謝過就算”，get over有很多意思，能表示“從病中痊愈”，或者“克服

困難”，以及“忘卻傷痛”等等。

這里的get over it很有點將此事拋在腦后，莫再提莫再講的意思。

29、You're not gonna let this go, are you?

注釋：Let this go

Let sth. go也有很多意思，包括“解雇、放松、放手”，等等。這邊就是“放手不管、

松口不問”的意思。

30、You know, your mood swings are kind of giving me whiplash.

注釋：Mood swings；Whiplash

Mood swings很形象，就是情緒波動，指的是愛德華對待貝拉的態度忽冷忽熱。而

whiplash本意是鞭笞，這里是一個引申出來的意義，表示傷害、傷痛。整句話翻譯出

來就是：你老這么忽冷忽熱的我可受不了。
