英語語法常用的目的狀語從句聯詞

目的狀語從句：從句部分是用以補充說明主句中謂語動詞發生的目的的。

表示目的狀語的從句可以由that, so that, in order that, lest, for fear that, in ca

等詞引導；

目的狀語從句的謂語常含有may, might, can, could, should, would等情態動詞。

例如：

You must speak louder so that /in order that you can be heard by all.

He wrote the name down for fear that(lest) he should forget it.

Better take more clothes in ca the weather is cold.

引導目的狀語從句常用的連詞有： that（以便），so that（以便）， in order that

（為了；以便），Lest（免得；唯恐）， for fear that（生怕；以免）。

【例如】

Say it louder(so)that everyone can hear you.

大聲說，以便大家都能聽到你。

I am telling you that lest you should make a mistake.

我告訴你這一點，以免你搞錯。

學習目的狀語從句應注意以下兩點：

（1）目的狀語從句中常含有can,could,may,might,should等情態動詞。

【例】

I got up early so that I could catch the first bus.

我起得很早，目的是為了趕上頭班公共汽車。

（2）在口語中so可以引導目的狀語從句。

【例】

We'll sit nearer the front so we can hear better.

我們坐的靠前一點，因此，我們聽得清楚一點。

【注意】in order that與in order to的區別：

in order that+從句

in order to+動詞原形 （ in order to后面加的那個不叫目的.狀語從句，叫目的狀語）

目的狀語從句的一個特點：由于目的都是未來的行為，

所以從句中一般用表示未來可能性時態，比如上面兩句中的could。

當然還可以用will,would,can,等

結果狀語從句的連詞

以下結果狀語從句的一些用法。

1) so … that…/ such ….that

該句式中重要考查的是so和such的區別。應注意以下可能出現的結構：

so nice a boy that…

such a nice boy that…

so beautiful/diligent/carefully … that…

such (fine weather/great improvement) that…

2) so that

Everyone lend a hand, so that the sowing was done in time.

該句式中主要考查so that 與其它短語的區別，如：

I took no notice of him, ___ he flew into a rage.

that that that that

由于so that也可以引導目的狀語從句，同學們應特別注意從句中時態的運用。

3) so much so that

該結構用于形容詞或副詞之后，表示"到如此程度以致于"。如：

He was very weak, so much so that he could not walk.

I long to visit Beijing, so much so that I dream about it every night.

4) 注意結構狀語從句與too….to..enough to…, so… as to結構的不同。
