Teaching Plan 《Brave It Out》
教案背景
本教案適合中等職業高中一年級高職升學班級英語教學,第八單元第一課時,學
生已經初步掌握課后單詞,本節課要學習導入部分和閱讀。
教學課題
本節課選自英語上冊基礎模塊《Unit 8 Brave It Out》。
教材分析
英語上冊是對中職學生基礎實際,低起點起步,歸納復現九年義務教育階段的英
語基本語言知識和能力,實現大綱基礎模塊中規定的基本要求的第一階段目標。
本節課要在掌握英語語言知識的同時對學生進行意志品質的思想教育。
教學方法
熱身運動和導入課文時的討論法、探究法,知識點的講授法,閱讀課文找信息讀
書指導法,鞏固提高時練習法。

III Explain the notes of the text.
1. Brave it out 勇敢面對人生(直面人生)。
2. Do you agree with the idea that life is fair?你同意生活是公平的這一觀點嗎?
agree with sth“同意某人的意見、想法、觀點、決定等”。例如:I agree with your answer.我
贊同你的答案。
agree with sb同意某人的意見。如:We agree with our teacher.我們同意老師的意見。
句子中的that life is fair是idea的同位語。
3. It reminded me of something a teacher said when I was a high school student.這使我回想起我
還是中學生的時候老師說過的話。
Remind sb of sth “使某人回想起······”。又如:The picture reminded me of
The days we worked on the farm.這幅畫使我想起了在農場勞動的日子。
4. We usually think that life should be fair,but we sometimes fell sorry for ourvlves.我們通常認
為生活應該是公平的,但有時卻為自己感動遺憾。
feel(be) sorry for sb “為某人感到遺憾,難過”。
5. Life is full of challenges. 生活充滿著挑戰。
be full of… “充滿······”。又如:The bus is full of people. 公共汽車擠滿了人。
6. American-born Chine 在美國出生的華人,通常被稱為美籍華人或ABC。
7. But he never gace up and went on to finish school. 但是他從不放棄,而繼續完成了學業。
give up “放棄”。又如:She has given up the idea. 他已放棄了那種想法。
go on to do sth “(干完某事之后)接著干某事”。又如:After he finished writing the letter, he
went on to read the text.他寫完信后,接著就讀課文。
PhD program “博士學位課程”,PhD(博士)是doctor of philosophy的縮寫。
8. Now he is very active in teaching English and helping children who are out of school. 現在他
非常積極的從事英語教學和幫助失學孩子。
be active in doing sth“積極從事某事”。如:He is active in helping
classmates who are out of school是定語從句,修飾先行詞children。
be out of“脫離,在······范圍之外”。又如:The sick man is out of danger
at last.病人終于脫離危險。

非他開始責怪別人。
not…until…“直到······才······”。如:He didn’t go to bed until 10
o’clock. 他直到10點才睡覺。

教學反思
好的開始是成功的一半。根據學生的基本情況,本節課教學的關鍵是要激發學生
的學習興趣,因此熱身的圖片選擇了他們熟悉的職業,并根據課題展開對職業與
地位的討論。課文的展開也是由一張照片開始,讓學生揣摩他的身份,培養學生
的觀察力和推理能力,教師的提示“腰帶”讓學生有更多的猜測,讓他們迫不及
待地去閱讀課文尋找答案。之后的教學過程就順理成章了。在學生自主閱讀課文
時教師的點睛解釋也讓他們茅塞頓開??傊?,這堂可還是成功的。
