remaining independent organizations.

3. Licensing: Licensing is the process of granting

in exchange for a fee or royalty.

4. Mergers and Acquisitions: Mergers and acquisitions are

transactions in which the ownership of a company changes. A

merger is when two companies agree to combine into one company;

an acquisition is when one company purchas another company.
