背景知識

鼓浪嶼位于廈門島西南面,與廈門島只隔一條寬600米的鷺江,乘輪渡5分鐘可達。

鼓浪嶼原名“圓沙洲”,別名“圓洲仔”,明朝改稱“鼓浪嶼”。乃因島西南方有一礁石,每當漲潮水涌,浪擊礁石,聲似擂鼓,人們稱“鼓浪石”,鼓浪嶼因此而得名。

鼓浪嶼面積僅1.91平方千米,是廈門最大的一個衛星島,常住居民2萬人。島上巖石崢嶸,挺拔雄秀,因長年受海浪撲打,形成許多幽谷和峭崖,沙灘、礁石、峭壁、巖峰,相映成趣。

花似錦,特別是小樓紅瓦與綠樹相映,顯得格外漂亮。

鼓浪嶼樓房鱗次櫛比,掩映在熱帶、亞熱帶林木里,日光巖奇峰突起,群鷗騰飛……組成一幅美麗的畫卷。

鼓浪嶼是“音樂家搖籃”“鋼琴之島”,小小鼓浪嶼有鋼琴600臺,其密度居全國之冠。只要你漫步在各個角落小道上,就會不時聽到悅耳的鋼琴聲,悠揚的小提琴聲,輕快的吉他聲,動人優美的歌聲,加以海浪的節拍,環境特別迷人。音樂,已成為鼓浪嶼特別絢麗的風景。

鼓浪嶼是“建筑博覽館”,許多建筑有濃烈的歐陸風格,古希臘的三大柱式陶立克、愛奧尼克、科林斯各展其姿,羅馬式的圓柱,哥特式的尖頂,伊斯蘭圓頂,巴洛克式的浮雕,門樓壁爐、陽臺、鉤欄、突拱窗。爭相斗妍,異彩紛呈,洋溢著古典主義和浪漫主義的色彩。
