五、Teaching procedures
Step 1 Greetings and Leading-in
Greet the whole class as usual. Ask questions like this:
T: I want to ask you some questions, How many subjects do you learn at school?
S: Seven subjects.
T: what are they?
S: Chine, English, math, geography…
Purpo:用學(xué)生們最熟悉的科目作為導(dǎo)入,以一問(wèn)一答的形式讓學(xué)生融入到學(xué)習(xí)本課新知的氛圍中。
Step 2 Prent the New Words
①Show the new words on the screen.
T: Look at the books.( show students some kinds of subject books.) What’s this? S: It’s a math book.
T: Yes,“math”.Read after me, M-A-T-H.
S: M-A-T-H.
Teach another words P.E., history, music like this, The students repeat the new words.
②Play a game —Bomb game
③Show me your book correctly.
T: I say “Chine”, you should show me your Chine book.
S: OK.
④Do Section A 1a
Match the pictures with the words.
Purpo:讓學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)本課知識(shí)前先感受本課新單詞,通過(guò)炸彈游戲迅速讓學(xué)生了解每個(gè)單詞的發(fā)音,引起學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的興趣,再以一個(gè)“我說(shuō)你秀”的活動(dòng),讓學(xué)生們掌握單詞的中文意思。學(xué)生“動(dòng)口,動(dòng)手,動(dòng)腦”三管齊下,鞏固單詞,已達(dá)到本課的教學(xué)目標(biāo)。
Step 3 Prentation
①Prent the drills.
T: We have many subjects at school, What’s your favorite subject? 你最喜歡的學(xué)科是什么?
S1: English.
S2: math.
T: Yes, you can say“My favorite subject is English.”
T: And when you want to know the reason, What should you ask?
S: Why?
T: Very good, you can say“Why do you like English?”
We can u “Becau……”to answer it. For example, Becau it’s interesting/fun/relaxing/easy.
②Listening 1b
T: We will have a listening, they are talking about their first day at school. What are their favorite subjects? Listen carefully and circle the subjects that you hear in 1a.
T:Check your answers. And repeat the conversation.
Step 4 Practice
Practice in pairs by asking “What’s your favorite subject?”、“Why do you like …?”T: We know two students’favorite subjects. What’s your partner’s favorite subject? Make a short conversation in pairs.
(The students practice in pairs.)
T: Check your conversations. I will ask some of you to act this short conversation. Purpo:通過(guò)編對(duì)話,對(duì)話表演練習(xí),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生掌握本課重難點(diǎn)句型。在玩中學(xué),在學(xué)中玩,寓教于樂(lè),充分體現(xiàn)新課改的理念。
Step 5 Exercis and Summary
①Show some exercis by the projector, Let students do it as quickly as they can.
②Let students summary the important and difficult points in this unit.
Purpo: 通過(guò)簡(jiǎn)單的三種不同形式的練習(xí)題,加深學(xué)生們對(duì)于單詞及句型的印
象。讓學(xué)生們自主總結(jié)本課知識(shí)點(diǎn),以學(xué)生為主體,老師為主導(dǎo)的模式正體現(xiàn)了新課改的理念。
Step 6 Homework
①Review the words and drills in this unit.
②Make a survey——What’s your friend’s favorite subject? And the reason. Purpo: 開(kāi)放式的作業(yè)題吸引學(xué)生眼球,增進(jìn)學(xué)生們之間的交流和友誼,讓學(xué)生們彼此相互了解,也達(dá)到了本課的情感目標(biāo)。
六、Teaching reflection
在教學(xué)中恰當(dāng)?shù)囊敫?jìng)爭(zhēng)的學(xué)習(xí)機(jī)制,使學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)熱情高漲,培養(yǎng)學(xué)習(xí)激情,感受成功的樂(lè)趣。教學(xué)中也出現(xiàn)了不少問(wèn)題,在節(jié)奏和時(shí)間的控制上有所欠缺。今后在學(xué)生活動(dòng)前,教師應(yīng)做一定的時(shí)間限制。活動(dòng)過(guò)程中,要多留意他們的進(jìn)程,從而拿捏好時(shí)間。
