CONTRACT DRAFTING

This popular one-day minar is designed for all tho in the public ctor who have to draft or interpret contractual provisions for procurement,

tendering and commissioning. It will provide practical advice and guidance on contract drafting as well as examples from readily available precedents.

No previous knowledge of contract drafting will be assumed. The prenter will take delegates step-by-step through the process of contract drafting,

including not only the detail of individual contract terms, but also the need to understand the role of contract terms as part of the commercial and

practical context of the contract ‘as a whole’. Ca studies and practical examples will be ud throughout the day to illustrate key points and the

minar will be run as an ‘interactive’ day, with plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion. A detailed workbook accompanies the day.
